Privacy Policy

Your privacy is fundamental to how we design and operate Keep Reminding. This policy explains what information the app accesses, how it is used, and how we protect your data.

1. Information We Access

Keep Reminding helps you create and manage reminders, categories, and calendar events. The app stores the reminders, categories, schedules, and notes that you enter directly into the app. To send timely alerts, the app may request notification permission. You can enable or disable notifications at any time in Settings.

2. On-Device Processing

Keep Reminding is built with a privacy-first approach. Your reminders and categories are stored locally on your device. We do not:

• Upload your reminder data to any external server
• Store your data in the cloud
• Sell user data to third parties
• Share personal reminder information with any third party

3. Data Export

You can export your reminders as a CSV or PDF file at any time. Exporting is initiated by you, and the exported file is saved locally on your device. We do not receive a copy of exported files.

4. Advertising

Keep Reminding may display banner ads loaded from a remote configuration. We do not use third-party advertising SDKs such as AdMob or Meta Audience Network, and we do not collect advertising IDs or device identifiers for ad targeting. No personal reminder information is shared with advertisers.

5. Data We Collect

Keep Reminding does not intentionally collect personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, location, or health records. The reminder data you enter is stored only on your device and is not transmitted to us.

6. Third-Party Services

The only external service Keep Reminding currently uses is the remote ad configuration that supplies the banner ads shown in the app. We do not currently use analytics, crash reporting, cloud backup, or social media SDKs that would collect usage data.

7. Permissions

Keep Reminding may request notification permission to deliver reminder alerts. To schedule reminders at the exact time you choose, the app also uses exact alarm permissions and a boot receiver to reschedule alarms after your device restarts. These permissions are used only for reminder functionality and are never used to collect or transmit personal content.

8. Data Security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect app functionality and user privacy. Because your reminder data is processed and stored on-device, it is not transmitted over the internet by default.

9. Children's Privacy

Keep Reminding is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. When we make changes, we will update the Effective Date at the top of this page.
